5/21/2020 The Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe has been awarded funding under section 601 (a) of the Social Security Act, as added by section 5001 of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act). On May 20, 2020, the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribal Council approved an economic support program under the Tribe’s General Welfare Code and under the allowable allocation of funds guideline from the U.S. Treasury Department, the provision of economic support in connection with the COVID-19 public health emergency. Business Committee Election – 5/2/2020

  Saturday May 2nd, 2020 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM Drive-Thru polling will be available but Mail-In Ballots Strongly Encouraged   The LEKT Election Committee is recommending and requesting that as many voters as possible utilize their mail-in ballots to cast their votes in both 2020 Elections (General and Chair). Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, mailing in your ballot is by far the safest way to vote. We are doing drive up testing in the health department parking lot. Elwha Clinic Expanded Patient Hours

Additional appointments are now available at: 4:30 pm, 5:00 pm, 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm. We have implemented very strict procedures in order to ensure the safety of all patients.  You may have noticed the trailer at the back of the clinic for patients with respiratory illnesses.  No one with a cough, fever or other respiratory symptoms will come into the clinic during this time.  Please respect this policy so we can protect the community from any risk of exposure.
