PRC/CHS Eligible Members Medication Process Update Due to 3rd Party Biller Being Down Nation Wide:
The third-party biller, UnitedHealth subsidiary Change Healthcare, is still down with the hacking that happened February21, 2024 with no resolution in site.
The Process:
- Temporary Accommodation’s by the PRC/CHS Coordinator
PRC/CHS eligible members needing their medication paid for call: 360.797.3156
* (leave a message if no answer and a call back will be received)
Make sure you have time to work with the PRC/CHS
Times may vary The PRC/CHS Coordinator is available twice a day at 11 and 2 to travel to Port Angeles pharmacies to pay for medications
Please make sure you have time to wait as other pharmacies may have more patients being served
Be sure to call!
You will need to coordinate meet the PRC/CHS Coordinator at your pharmacy or give her permission to pick up the medication(s) which can be pick up from the clinic (elders will be delivered too).
* After hours is by emergency services depending on the medication for priority one medications if they cannot wait till the following day. Be sure to plan ahead and not wait until the last minute to coordinate this service.
