“Parents in the know” was a pilot project of the Lower Elwha Family Advocacy Program in 2016 through the Office of Crime Victims Advocacy grant. LEFA was one of few DV/SA programs in Washington State that started this model and received great feedback from the participants and grantor. This is why staff offers this type of prevention class again with additional days to cover more educational information/awareness.
