Program Descriptions

The staff of the Lower Elwha Fisheries Office works to remain on the cutting-edge of applied fisheries science. We are continually developing the innovative approaches necessary to solve the challenges that our region faces daily!

•  Achieving consensus on difficult harvest management issues

•  Tackling evaluation, design and installation of habitat restoration projects

•  Exploring alternate incubational and rearing strategies for Pacific salmon species that depart from conventional fish culture techniques
